Purple Co. · Solventless

Pressed, not processed.

Real hash rosin is just ice, water, heat and pressure, plus a lot of patient hand work. Here’s how it’s made, step by step, and why it costs more than other extracts.

Step by step

Seed to jar.

Every jar makes the same slow trip. Months of daily, hands-on care raise the flower — then a few cold, careful weeks finish the job. No step gets rushed; every one shows up in the jar.

  1. 01

    The grow

    3–5 months

Flower grown for flavor and quality — never for yield. Months of daily watering, feeding and training before anything else can happen.

  2. 02

    Fresh freeze

    Harvest day

Harvested and frozen whole the same day, locking in the living terpene profile before it has a chance to fade.

  3. 03

    Ice wash

    Hours, by hand

Stirred through ice water by hand until the resin heads let go and sink, then poured over a stack of fine screens. The plant stays behind; only the resin comes through.

  4. 04

    Freeze dry

    2–3 days

Days under vacuum, still frozen — no oven, no heat. The hash comes out bone-dry with every terpene intact, ready for the plates.

  5. 05

    The press

    Minutes

Pressed low and slow between warm plates until golden rosin flows onto the parchment. The only heat it will ever see.

  6. 06

    Cold cure

    A few weeks

Rested cold until it settles into a soft, scoopable badder — then whipped, jarred and ready for the case.

Frozen at harvest, washed in ice water, pressed into rosin.

A lot of flower, a little rosin

What you’re buying.

Hash rosin is the resin itself — washed off the plant with ice and water, then pressed with gentle heat. It can’t be rushed, and most of the plant never reaches the jar.

So when hash rosin costs more than other extracts on the shelf, that’s what you’re paying for: months of hand work, and everything that didn’t make the cut.
